A credibility rebuild for a CPA firm: new site, eight mailboxes migrated off a legacy host without losing a message, and DMARC that shut down invoice spoofing.
The problem
An established Draper CPA firm with a dated site and email on an aging GoDaddy plan. Clients had reported suspicious emails that appeared to come from the firm — spoofed invoice attempts using their unprotected domain.
What we did
Migrated eight mailboxes — years of mail, calendars, and contacts — from legacy IMAP hosting to Microsoft 365 over a weekend, with zero lost messages and no client-facing downtime.
Enforced SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on the domain. Spoofed mail claiming to be from the firm now fails authentication and gets rejected before it reaches anyone's inbox.
Built a new site with clear service pages, secure client-intake forms (covered by automated tests), and locally targeted content for Draper and Sandy searches.
